Join the Coral Gables Museum on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a free Family Day celebrating Dominican Restoration Day and the Smithsonian exhibition "Many Voices, One Nation: En Nuestras Palabras."

Enjoy a day of family-friendly activities celebrating the traditions, art and culture of the Dominican Republic, including:

• Guided tours of the Smithsonian exhibition "Many Voices, One Nation: En Nuestras Palabras"
• Dominican flower bouquet workshop
• Traditional hair braiding demonstrations
• Dominican folklore dance performance and interactive dance class
• Children's book readings by Dominican authors
• Dominican artisan doll display
• Dominican cuisine and local vendors

The event is presented in partnership with FUNDUNIFE, Brat Sisters Hair Braiding and other Allapattah-based businesses and entrepreneurs, bringing the spirit of Little Santo Domingo to Coral Gables.

Admission is free and includes access to all Coral Gables Museum exhibitions.
