Coral Gables galleries and participating art venues open their doors on the first Friday of the month from 6 to 10 p.m. as part of Coral Gables Gallery Night. At this monthly event, attendees can enjoy live music and fine art while enjoying a night out in the City Beautiful. Visitors are encouraged to use the city's trolleys or Freebee on-demand vehicles to travel between galleries.

Lecia Store Miami | 372 Miracle Mile

Join Leica Store Miami on Friday, Oct. 2, from 7 to 10 p.m. as it welcomes Bronx-born photographer Lisa Leone for an exhibition of her earliest work — intimate, unguarded images of hip-hop’s first generation captured on the streets of New York.

Leone began photographing in 1982 as a student at the High School of Art & Design, alongside classmates who would become some of hip-hop’s earliest graffiti artists and dancers. Using Leica M6 and M4-P cameras, she captured artists without studio polish — just the artist, the street and the texture of a city she saw as beautiful even at its most broken.

More than 30 years later, these images offer a rare, close look at a culture and community before either fully knew what they were becoming.

Celebrate October Gallery Night at H. Benitez Fine Art Gallery and discover a unique art-inspired gift just in time for the holiday season.

By presenting their works side by side, the exhibition highlights shared influences and the ways diverse artistic perspectives can inspire one another.

Coral Gables Museum | 285 Aragon Avenue

Celebrate Gallery Night at the Coral Gables Museum with an evening of art, music, dancing, and family-friendly fun. Presented by the Young Associates, the evening will feature DJ Kauze, free gallery admission, a cash bar, a Halloween-inspired kids activity, and a free salsa class presented by the Coral Gables Business Improvement District.

Guests can explore newly unveiled exhibitions "Capture Coral Gables" and "America Touched", "America Seen", alongside "Life is a Carnival de Barranquilla", "Rebuilding Motherland", and "Revisiting Arva Moore Park’s 'Creating the Dream'. The evening will also include the Capture Coral Gables winners reveal and awards ceremony from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. and a free salsa class from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m.
