With input from citizen boards and industry experts, the Innovation & Technology and Communications departments, and City Clerk’s Office have worked together on this exciting new project built on industry and government best practices. Cities like Boston, Sacramento and Fontana, CA, among others, have implemented the same platform and Salesforce system integration partners and industry experts.
The app is integrated with the city's website platform and Granicus/Legistar agenda systems, allowing users to register to receive notifications about upcoming city events and meetings. The Citizen Request Center also features an advanced AI chatbot to assist users on the mobile app and the web portal which will connect to the city's transportation and parking systems, EnerGov permit and code enforcement systems, city payment platforms and smart city hub. This system is an upgrade to the previous mobile app and service request portal which now includes a state-of-the-art cloud-based solution.
