Fire Hydrant Relocation on Le Jeune Road between Palermo and Sevilla Avenues

Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) crews will relocate a fire hydrant near Palermo Avenue and Le Jeune Road on Wednesday, June 11, starting at 9 p.m. One northbound lane on Le Jeune Road will be closed between these avenues.

Police are scheduled to be on site to direct traffic. This work should be completed within eight hours.

Sidewalk and Crosswalk Paver Restoration on Miracle Mile

To maintain its clean appearance, the City of Coral Gables will begin repairing crosswalk and sidewalk pavers along Miracle Mile starting Monday, May 12, between 10:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. There may be some impact to traffic and street parking at night due to the proximity of the crosswalks and to manage traffic. Work will begin on LeJeune Road and continue towards Douglas Road one crosswalk at a time.

Roadway Milling and Resurfacing on De Soto and Granada boulevards

Next 3-6 weeks starting May 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., crews will begin work along De Soto Boulevard and Sevilla Avenue, and move northeast one block at a time. Upon completion, work will then begin along Granada Boulevard and move south one block at a time. (If necessary, nighttime work will take place 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

Intersection of Coral Way and Granada Boulevard

  • Begins Feb. 3 and is to last nine months
  • Intermittent lane closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with right turn lanes permanently closed for the duration of the project
  • Traffic will be directed when necessary. 

Improvements will include signalization, milling and resurfacing, striping, sidewalk extensions, and landscaping.
