Plogging
Celebrate the 2026 Greatest American Cleanup season on Saturday, April 18, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Chapman Field Park, located at 13600 SW Guadalajara St. Volunteers will jog or walk through the mangrove trails, collecting litter to prevent it from re-entering the ocean.
What is plogging? It’s a fun, eco-friendly workout that combines jogging (or walking) with plocka upp — Swedish for “picking up” litter. Move at your own pace while making a difference.
Let’s clean up and get moving! Don’t forget to bring a reusable water bottle, closed-toes shoes, and sunscreen. Cleanup supplies will be provided by KCGB and Miami-Dade County.
