The University of Miami's Frost Symphony Orchestra (FSO) will have its opening concert of its centennial season Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. The concert features Griffes' The White Peacock, Corigliano's Triathlon with acclaimed saxophonist Timothy McAllister, and Brahms’ Second Symphony. McAllister, hailed as “a virtuoso” (NY Times), joins FSO for the Florida premiere of Corigliano's work.
