Join us for the 2026 season of Music at McBride Plaza! Music at McBride Plaza presents free outdoor concerts every other Thursday of the month from January through March. Every concert will feature a different and talented ensemble from UM’s Frost School of Music. Enjoy these outdoor concerts in the heart of Downtown Coral Gables from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The next concert features an opera ensemble. The Frost Opera Theater recognizes that today’s opera world is vibrant, eclectic, and ever changing. Theater performance activities reflect the broad range of programming in the 21st century, from Baroque opera to the most progressive works of our time. This evening's program will feature arias and ensembles from opera's broad range of
repertoire.

The Music at McBride Plaza Series is designed to offer young musicians studying at UM’s Frost School of Music the opportunity to showcase their talents in a setting easily accessible to businesspeople, residents, and visitors. The musicians go through a rigorous selection process auditioning for faculty who then select the top six groups to perform. The final group of musicians for the series typically represents a wide variety of musical genres which makes each concert a unique and wonderful experience for all.
This concert series is brought to you by the Arthur B. McBride Family Foundation, The Dosal Family Foundation, The City of Coral Gables, The Business Improvement District Inc., and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
