ArtLabbé Coral Gables is hosting a public painting event at their gallery (2522 Ponce de Leon Blvd.) this Thursday, May 29, at 4:30 p.m. to initiate the open call for their annual neurodivergent art and poetry contest, Liberté.

The Liberté neurodivergent art and poetry contest opens for registration this Thursday and will be exhibited at the Coral Gables ArtLabbé gallery from Nov. 20 to Dec. 5. The winners of each category will be selected by a jury of Coral Gables community leaders and awarded a cash prize of $250. The award ceremony will take place on Nov. 21.

ArtLabbé was started in 2005 by Néstor and María-Jose Fuentes Labbé in Santiago, Chile, and now has branches in Coral Gables and Santa Barbara, California. Their mission is helping the most vulnerable in society through the arts.
