HistoryMiami Museum will explore the history of Coral Gables with a presentation on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. Learn about the community that George Merrick designed and the legacy of the early Black laborers who built it.

The discussion will be led by historian Dr. Paul George who will be joined by community member Dorothy Martin Wallace, who will share stories of her life in the McFarlane Homestead Subdivision in the 1950s.
