Nov. 8, the Merrick House, 907 Coral Way, presents Miami’s Top Brass with patriotic marches and ragtime jazz. Enjoy the centennial debut of the 1925 song, “When the Moon Shines in Coral Gables.” Bring chairs or blankets and a boxed lunch or purchase some great bar-b-que prepared by the folks from Birdie’s Bistro. The Merrick House will be open from 1 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. at no charge. The house will be closed from 2 to 3 p.m. for the music program.
