This documentary explores the future of coral reefs and the efforts underway to protect them. Through the perspectives of leading scientists, the film highlights research surrounding Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease, a major challenge affecting coral reefs since it was first identified in 2014. Scientists continue to work collaboratively to better understand the disease and develop solutions to protect these vital ecosystems. The film also examines how human activities influence reef health and showcases the steps individuals, communities, and organizations can take to support reef conservation. By highlighting both the challenges and the ongoing scientific work, the documentary emphasizes the importance of protecting coral reefs, one of the most valuable and diverse ecosystems on Earth, for future generations.
