The City of Coral Gables invites residents to join a Community Ramadan Observance in recognition of the holy month of Ramadan on Thursday, Feb. 19 at the City Hall courtyard, 405 Biltmore Way from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. Ramadan is a sacred time observed by Muslims worldwide through fasting, prayer, reflection, charity, and community. 

The gathering will include educational remarks on the significance of Ramadan, followed by the ceremonial breaking of the fast (iftar) at sunset. Light refreshments will be available, with traditional dates provided to mark the occasion.

All members of the community are welcome to attend and learn more about this important tradition, reflecting Coral Gables’ commitment to inclusion, cultural understanding, and respect for the diverse faiths and traditions represented in our city.
