Celebrate America Recycles Day! Join KCGB and Community Recreation on Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. as we unveil a new battery recycling bin at the Coral Gables Adult Activity Center. This event will feature a presentation on the importance of recycling and a look at the different green initiative programs offered in Coral Gables.
Keep America Beautiful launched America Recycles Day in 1994 and is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the nation. America Recycles Day aims to educate and inspire individuals on mindful consumption, correct recycling methods, and encourages them to commit to regular, proper recycling in their daily lives.
