The average US household produces more than 20 pounds of household hazardous waste annually? To help dispose of this waste in an environmentally friendly way, the city hosts household hazardous waste collection events twice a year.
Residents are encouraged to take household, hazardous waste items (unbroken Compact Fluorescent light bulbs, paint cans, pesticides, pool chemicals, etc.) to:

West-Dade: 8831 NW 58th Street
South-Dade: 23707 SW 97th Ave
Hours of operations for both locations are Wednesday - Sunday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Construction Material
Coral Gables does not pick up or dispose of construction materials (sand, concrete, soil, roofing material, plywood, or other construction debris).
How can I dispose of construction material?
Construction material can be disposed of by using a licensed roll-off company.
The drop-off bin is located in the lobby of the new Coral Gables Police and Fire Headquarters located at 2151 Salzedo Street. Individuals can drop off their expired/unwanted prescription drugs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
