Share Your Giralda Sky Moment
The City of Coral Gables invites residents and visitors to participate in the Giralda Sky Photo Contest for a chance to win a gift certificate to a Giralda Plaza restaurant or business of their choice. Winners will select from a list provided by the city.
Contest Dates
July 1 – July 15, 2026
Winners will be selected through a random drawing and announced in late July.
How to Enter
- Visit Giralda Plaza and take a photo beneath the Cielo Tejido installation.
- At least one person must be visible in the photo.
- Post the photo on Instagram or Facebook.
- Tag @CityofCoralGables on Instagram or City of Coral Gables – Government on Facebook.
- Include the hashtag #CieloTejidoCG.
Eligibility Requirements
- Photo must be taken at Giralda Plaza beneath the Cielo Tejido installation.
- At least one person must be featured in the photo.
- Limit one entry per person.
- Entries must be posted between July 1 and July 15, 2026.
- Public social media accounts only. Private accounts cannot be verified for entry.

Winners may select their preferred business from a list of participating locations provided by the city.
- First Place: $200 Gift Certificate
- Second Place: $100 Gift Certificate

About Cielo Tejido
Cielo Tejido is a colorful overhead installation featuring handwoven textiles created by artisan women from Etzatlán, Mexico. The installation celebrates traditional craftsmanship and cultural heritage, transforming the space with vibrant patterns inspired by generations of weaving traditions.
