Public notice is hereby given that the City of Coral Gables, Florida City Commission will be postponing the Sunshine Neighborhood Meeting for the purpose of discussing text amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code to create a parks incentives program within the Design & Innovation District to be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023 (rescheduled from Sept. 20). The District is the area surrounding the Shops of Merrick Park and bounded by Bird Road, SW 39 Avenue, Ruiz Avenue/Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Le Jeune Road. The proposed text amendments provide for additional building height within the District when providing an on-site park that is open to the public.  

The meeting will be taking place at Sea Grill Restaurant- Shops at Merrick Park- 4250 Salzedo St #1425

The meeting may be attended by members of the City Commission and City Staff.

Pursuant to the Sunshine Law, the meeting is open to attendance by the members of the public.
