This Saturday, Oct. 18, the Shops at Merrick Park is celebrating community and compassion in Coral Gables with its 6th Annual Hanging With Heroes, a free family event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Families can meet their favorite superheroes, enjoy live entertainment, and take part in creative activities from Jam with Jamie performances to face painting, crafts, and more all in the center’s open-air setting.
Non-Profit Thanksgiving Meal Delivery
But beyond the fun, this year’s event carries an even greater mission. The Shops at Merrick Park is partnering with Miami Mom Collective and Branches to support the nonprofit’s 25th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Delivery, which provides more than 5,000 meals to families in need across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
Guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items or make a donation to help Branches continue its 25-year tradition of feeding local families during the holidays.
