Seasons of the Soul invites audiences on an emotional journey through three musical worlds in dialogue. Featuring works by three composers from three distinct eras, the program explores music as a reflection of the human experience, blending classical tradition with Latin soul in a concert meant to be both heard and felt.
The program includes Robert Schumann’s intimate Romanticism, George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” which merges jazz with classical form, and Astor Piazzolla’s “The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires,” a vivid musical portrait of time and longing. Performers include Israel Mendez and Fabiana Escalona, violins; Kenny Aponte, cello; Marcela Martinez, piano; and Mariana Fermin, viola.
