Fairchild is home to The Tropical Fruit program and the world's largest mango collection. The annual Mango Festival is a celebration of the more than 400 varieties of mangos in their prized collection. The festival invites families and friends to partake in a weekend of mango-centric festivities. Saturday and Sunday, July 8-9, 2023, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. guests can take their taste buds to the tropics for a weekend devoted to all things mango.
The 2023 lineup promises an array of activities for attendees of all ages:
- Cooking demonstrations and mango tastings
- Specialty mango smoothies and cocktails
- Signature mango brunch
- A variety of mangoes and tropical fruits available for purchase
- Food vendors showcasing innovative mango-inspired menus
- Informative mango lectures
