The City of Coral Gables Traffic Calming Program provides a resident driven approach with the objective to reduce residential vehicular speeds and improve safety for all users. The process began in 2016 with data collection at requested locations, balloting for each device, and workshops for resident input throughout the City.  Due to the scope of the project, the City was divided into five (5) individual zones.  The workshop for Zone 5 will take place on May 14th, 2026 at the Coco Plum Women’s Club.  At the public meeting, the City will present the Traffic Calming Toolkit, recommended improvements, and device locations as well as collect resident feedback through breakout sessions. 

Residents can attend the meeting in person or join virtually via the zoom link.
