Coral Gables Art Cinema presents a screening of "The Black Power Mixtape 1967–1975", followed by a panel discussion hosted by filmmaker Dudley Alexis and featuring journalist and community historian Nadege Green.

The documentary draws from a remarkable archive of 16mm footage filmed by Swedish journalists who traveled to the United States between 1967 and 1975 amid widespread social unrest. With rare access to leaders of the Black Power movement — including Stokely Carmichael, Bobby Seale, Angela Davis and Eldridge Cleaver — the filmmakers captured candid interviews and everyday moments rarely seen on screen.

Rediscovered decades later in the archives of Swedish Television, the footage was assembled by director Göran Olsson and co-producer Danny Glover into a layered portrait of a pivotal era, blending historical images with contemporary narration and music to examine the movement’s legacy.
