Get your Free Adult Activity Center 50+ Access Pass today. 

The AAC Access Pass will provide contactless check-in, capacity control and quick priority registration opportunities. The Access Pass will be required for all patrons of the AAC to register for any class, program or special event. An active household/account with the Community Recreation Department is required. To register for the new pass please register at playgables.com or visit the Adult Activity Center on 2 Andalusia Ave. during office hours.

Adult Activity Center Programming

AAC Annual Variety Show

Friday, April 1 at 1 p.m.

Come one, come all. Join us for an afternoon of music, dance, laughs and more at the AAC Annual Variety Show Friday, April1 at 1 p.m. at the AAC. Beatlemania Afternoon!

Saturday, April 2 at 1 p.m.

Join us for a Beatlemania afternoon at the Coral Gables Art Cinema sponsored by Commissioner Menendez on Saturday, April 2  to watch the classic "A Hard Day's Night" at 1 p.m. Tickets are FREE and available to the 50+ Community at the Adult Activity Center, 2 Andalusia Ave. or online at playgables.com The showing will include a FREE ticket to the movie, a small popcorn, and a soda. The concession stand will also be open for additional snacks and for those with a sweet tooth. Tickets are limited and are available on a first come first serve basis. AAC Spring Fling and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon 

Friday, May 6 at 1 p.m.

Join us at the Coral Gables Adult Activity Center for a Spring Fling and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. This will be an afternoon of fun, food, laughter and dancing with friends. A buffet lunch will be served and seating is limited. Registration for the luncheon will open for residents  on Monday, April 4 and for non-residents on Monday, April 18Two tickets per person and seating is limited so be sure to get your tickets early. Tickets will be available at the Adult Activity Center, 2 Andalusia Ave. or online at playgables.com

Cost:

Residents: $11.00

Non-residents: $13.75

Ride Free on Miami-Dade Transit using Golden Passport

Who is eligible?

Senior citizens 65 years and over or Social Security beneficiaries who are permanent residents of Miami-Dade County.

How to Apply 

If you are 65 years and over, please provide:

  • Current valid Florida ID or driver’s license with a Miami-Dade County physical address

If you are 64 years and under, please provide:

  • Current valid Florida ID or driver’s license with a Miami-Dade County physical address
  • Current benefit status letter from Social Security Administration verifying eligibility each year
  • Social Security Card.

When you apply, your photo will be taken. Your image will appear on your new card. This card expires annually on the last day of month printed on card. Eligible children must provide school ID or Florida ID.

We are accepting applications every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 11a.m. - 1 p.m. 
 Applications must be submitted in person at the AAC, 2 Andalusia Ave.

Free Online Zoom Classes 

Free Virtual Programming offered by the Adult Activity Center are the pre-recorded Zoom Classes. See all of the Zoom Classes that we have to offer. 


FREE Parking is available in the parking garage above the building, FREE valet parking is available across the street at The Palace, and self parking is available along the street.

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL first time participants who would like to receive the Coral Gables resident priority
registration, and discounted rate, must provide two proofs of residency; one proof of residency must be a photo ID and the additional documentation can be: utility bills(FLP, waster, water), car registration, lease agreements, voter's registration.
Residents will be asked to re-submit their two proofs of residency every year.

All first time non-resident participants must show a photo ID to register for classes.
