Moving to a New Normal: Reopening our Parks Facilities Safely


Parks Pollinator Palooza
Sept. 25 at 10 a.m.

At the War Memorial Youth Center, 405 University Dr., Coral Gables

Give back to nature and learn to create your own pollinator-friendly butterfly garden. Event includes instruction on how to develop your own butterfly garden, a live planting activity, children’s crafts and readings, and an introduction to the iNaturalist app.

Paws In The Pool
Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021
At Venetian Pool, 2701 De Soto Blvd., Coral Gables

Venetian Pool’s Annual Dog Swim! It’s that time of the year again! Bring man’s best friend for a day at the pool. The Venetian Pool will open its doors for two sessions to accommodate both small and large dogs.
Please bring proof of current rabies vaccination and be prepared to clean up life’s little messes. Only those accompanied by a dog will be permitted to enter the facility. Please plan on keeping your dog leashed when not in the pool. Any dog showing signs of aggression will be asked to leave.

Tickets will be sold ONLY ONLINE at Playgables.com; 100 dog maximum per session.

Sessions and times:
Session 1: 10 a.m. - 1p.m. Small dogs only (0 through 30lbs.)
Session 2: 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Large dogs only (31lbs. and up) SESSION SOLD OUT

Fee:
$7 per dog
$5 per human (Admission only granted to those accompanied by a dog)


Pumpkin Patch at Pittman Park
Oct. 16 from 2 - 6 p.m.

At Pittman Park, 2200 Galiano St., Coral Gables

Celebrate fall in the City Beautiful! Hundreds of pumpkins in all sizes will take over Pittman Park. Enjoy live music, pumpkin decorating, face painting, food and beverages for purchase, and adorable picture-perfect fall portrait areas.
Event is FREE.


Adventure Day for All

A City of Coral Gables Event Celebrating People of All Abilities

Adventure Day For All is a FREE event for all ages and abilities and will feature an adventure zone, resource fair, crafts, entertainment, and much more including food vendors.

Before embarking, all explorers must pass through event check-in to receive their Adventure Credentials. Use of masks outdoors is encouraged, but not required.


Club P.L.A.Y Parents Night Out
Every Friday starting Aug. 27 - Dec. 17 from 6 - 9 p.m.

Registration is now open for members and residents. Drop off your child(ren) with their favorite Club P.L.A.Y counselors and enjoy a parents night out! Your children will enjoy fun-filled adventure as they participate in active games, arts and crafts, board games and more!. Pizza and Juice will be provided by the Youth Center, but children are welcome to bring their own dinner. Non-residents can register on Aug. 9th. Romance Under The Stars
At the Venetian Pool
Feb. 14, 2022 from 6 - 10 p.m.

Our annual Romance under the Stars event is back! Join us on Valentine’s Day Feb. 14, 2022 for a night of fun, dancing, and romance at the historic Venetian Pool. This year’s theme is to be determined.

Adults ages 21 & older (Proof of age will be checked at door).

Fee: $75 per person. ($150 per couple)
Includes buffet style dinner, group dancing, and a souvenir photo to take home.
