Bird electric scooters are now also available to rent in the City of Coral Gables. This second option for e-scooters is available for 60 days as part of a pilot program that began this August with the introduction of Spin scooters in Coral Gables. The City Commission agreed to extend the testing phase to analyze it further and determine the right number of scooters that are sustainable in Coral Gables. After the pilot programs with both vendors, the Commission will make a final decision on electric scooters in Coral Gables.
