Naomi Levi Garcia
Assistant City Attorney/ Intergovernmental Affairs Manager
Naomi Levi Garcia holds the dual position of Assistant City Attorney and Intergovernmental Affairs Manager for the City of Coral Gables. Working for both the City Manager and the City Attorney, her unique position allows her to effectively manage a cross-section of responsibilities and ably navigate between the role of legal advisor and administrative executive. Her duties include managing the City’s state and federal legislative agendas, supervising the City’s professional lobbying teams, and leading specialized projects.
Ms. Levi Garcia received a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Florida State University, graduating cum laude in three years, and her Juris Doctor from FIU College of Law. While in law school, she was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholar Scholarship and an active member of the Environmental Law Clinic. Before joining the City full-time in 2013, she gained experience in both the public and private sector, working for non-profit organizations, local governments and a multinational business. Ms. Levi Garcia is a member of the Dade County Bar Association and the Florida Bar's Governmental and Public Policy Advocacy Committee. She has been recognized as a "Home Rule Hero" by Florida League of Cities and the Miami-Dade County League of Cities.
