The Planning and Zoning Board comprises seven members, five (5) of whom shall be appointed by the City Commission, one of each shall be nominated by the City Manager and by the six (6) Board members appointed, both subject to approval by the City Commission. The Board is a quasi-judicial board that meets every second Wednesday of the month and makes recommendation to the City Commission on a wide variety of development applications such as development agreements, site plan, conditional use, right-of-way abandonment, Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan text amendment, Zoning Map and Future Land Use Map amendment, etc.
All Planning and Zoning Board applications are required to be reviewed by the Development Review Committee (DRC) and all applicable review boards prior the Planning and Zoning Committee review. Review by one or several boards may be required: (Board of Architects, Arts and Public Places Program, Transportation, Parking, Landscape Beautification, Waterways Advisory Board)

Applicants are encouraged to submit and pay all PZB application fees using the City's EnerGov system.
The public may comment on an agenda item using the City's e-comment function once the PZB meeting's is published at: https://coralgables.granicusideas.com/meetings.
The public may also send an email to email@example.com. The public comment period for any e-comments or emails shall conclude by the close-of-business the day prior to the PZB meeting.
