Class Descriptions:

Kindergym, Ages 4-6 years old
The Kinder gym class adds to the skills learned in earlier programs. Here the participant learns fundamental movement patterns and rhythmic & coordination for basic gymnastic skills. This program is taught in a progressive manner designed to encourage continued growth and added control over body movement, and utilizes some of the regulation size gymnastics equipment.

Hot Shots, Ages 4-7 years old
In the Hots Shots program gymnasts are hand selected based on their age, talent level & progressive ability to begin training for a future in competitive gymnastics. With an increased amount of training hours, skills are progressed at a rapid pace with emphasis on perfecting each skill. In this program, routines are introduced, and strength & flexibility are strongly encouraged as major components for progressing from Hot Shots to competitive team.

Girls & Boys BEEginner's, Ages 6-12 years old
The 'Bee'ginner gymnastics program is designed to meet the needs of the recreational gymnast, as well as the serious beginner intent on rapid acceleration to the competitive team level. Age appropriate classes are arranged with girls and boys in separate groups. Classes are 1-hour long and begin with a calisthenics stretch out period. The students begin working out on the equipment commensurate with their age, sex and skill level. At least 3 different pieces of equipment are used during each class to maximize the gaining. The classes finish off with strengthening exercises and a cool down period. Gymnastics at this level provides the participant with excellent strength and balance, which is easily applied to other physical activities.

Intermediate & Advanced, Ages 6-12 years old
In this program, students continue to work on the beginner basics as well as intermediate & advanced skills that are more challenging and physically demanding. These students have already perfected their cartwheels, handstands and the other skills in the beginner program. They will be introduced to skills such as round offs, and kick overs/walkovers on floor; hip circles on bars, jumping and basic tumbling on the beam; intermediate vaulting skills, etc. Our intermediate & advanced class is the next level up from our BEEginer's program. Placement in this class requires invitation and/or evaluation.

Teenage Tumbling Class Description, Ages 12-18 years old
This class offers tumbling skill progression from the beginner to advanced level. Whether wanting to learn basics skills such as handstands and cartwheels, or more advanced tumbling such as aerials, back-handspring and somersaults, this class will be able to address your needs. Cheerleaders are welcome to participate in this class to improve their tumbling ability while focusing on proper gymnastic techniques and exercises for appropriate strength development.

Pre-Team, Ages 5-12 years old
In the Pre-Team program gymnasts are hand selected based on their age, talent level & progressive ability to begin training for a future in competitive gymnastics. With an increased amount of training hours, skills are progressed at a rapid pace with emphasis on perfecting each skill. In this program, routines are introduced and strength & flexibility are strongly encouraged as major components for progressing from Pre-Team to competitive team.

USA Gymnastics J.O. Levels & Xcel, Competitive Team
This program is for gymnasts that show talent in the areas of strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. Gymnasts will start in level 1 or 2  or Xcel Bronze and work up through level 10 or Xcel Platinum, qualifying to the next level at competitions. Skills will progress as they increase levels until they are performing Olympic level skills. This program is by invitation only.

We offer a variety of programs from recreational to competitive gymnastics for all ages. Tumblebees Gymnastics has been servicing the Miami-Dade County Area for over thirty-five years. Through the years, the Tumblebees organization has owned and managed seven fully-equipped gymnastics centers and up to 50 different satellite programs, organized summer camps, holiday and seasonal shows, managed and directed over a dozen Sanctioned USAG & AAU Competitions, including the nationally known Jr. Orange Bowl Invite, and provided instruction to nearly 50,000 boys and girls in the Miami Area. As a contributor back to the community, Tumblebees has been an active supporter of the Special Olympics organization, both as a certified training facility and a competitive host club. On September 11, 1993, Tumblebees received a proclamation from Miami-Dade County for “Tumblebees Gymnastics Day”, because of its contribution to the health and fitness of the area’s children and young adults.

Jennifer Karborani D.P.T, C.O.M.T
Co-Owner, Team Director, Coach, and T.O.Ps State Manager
Jennifer began her tenure at TumbleBees as an assistant coach in 2000 but it wasn’t long before she built up a competitive team and became head coach, team manager and then a co-owner. As a child, she was introduced to gymnastics at the age of 7 and continued as a competitive gymnast under the USA Gymnastics League until 1999. In 2002, she was the All-American cheer champion, and Co-Captain of the FIU Cheerleading Squad in 2006. Jennifer graduated in 2010 with her doctoral degree in physical therapy. In 2011, she partnered up with Andi Winston and became Co-Owner of TumbleBees Gymnastics Miami. She is a qualified USA Gymnastics Judge since 2011 and Safety Certified under the USA Gymnastics league. In 2012 she introduced the USA Gymnastics Talent Opportunity Program (T.O.P) to TumbleBees and has qualified several athletes to the USA Gymnastics T.O.Ps A & B camps, Diamond Team and Development Invite Camps. She now holds the title of State Manager for the USA Gymnastics Talent Opportunity Program in Florida.
In 2016 she expanded her love for gymnastics into the Palm Beach County area where she opened her second gym, Tumblebees Gymnastics Jupiter. Jennifer enjoys CrossFit, Pilates, and Orange Theory as an alternative method to staying in shape. After attaining her certificate in CrossFit Gymnastics, Jennifer created TumbleBees own CrossFit Gymnastics class in 2013. She competed in the CrossFit Regional Games in 2012 and 2013. She continues in her 20th year at TumbleBees, truly motivated by the Competitive Gymnasts she teaches, with a goal of Olympic gold in the years to come

Andi Winston
Co-Owner and Business Manager
Andi Winston is the founding owner of Tumblebees since 1986. She works from behind the scenes as the administrative business manager helping to make sure our gym operations run smoothly. She partnered with Jenny in 2011 and together they have brought Tumblebees Gymnastic to several locations in South Florida. Andi always had a dream of running a gym where Olympic level athletes can strive to “Bee” the best they can be. She is proud to have accomplished that goal and looks forward to watching several more children within South Florida flourish through our program over the next decade.
