EVENTS SUSPENSION AND FACILITY CLOSURES FOR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: 

All special events requiring a Special Events Permit will be suspended until further notice. All City events including The Farmers Market and sports tournaments will be suspended until further notice. The Adult Activity Center, Merrick House, Passport Acceptance Facility, Venetian Pool, Tennis Centers, Youth Center and Granada Golf Course will be closed until further notice. All City advisory board meetings are suspended until further notice. All City quasi-judicial board meetings are suspended for the month of April. City Trolley service and Freebee service will continue until further notice. All other city services and facilities will remain open until further notice.
Consistent with Miami-Dade County's declared state of emergency, City of Coral Gables Mayor Raúl Valdés-Fauli has declared a City State of Emergency effective March 12, 2020 due to the public health threat of COVID-19. Facility Usage Hours:

During daylight savings time: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Non-Daylight Savings Time: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Facility Holiday Hours:

  • Thanksgiving Day: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

  • Christmas Eve: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.

  • Christmas Day: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Both our golf courses, Biltmore and Granada have fully-stocked pro shops, locker rooms, handcart rental, electric golf cart rental, and a restaurant. Membership and tournament outings are also available. A talented staff of golf professionals is available for a variety of lesson formats that include private, group, junior lessons and specialty shot classes. With a multitude of programs aimed at all ages and levels, the Biltmore and Granada golf courses are a source of fun all year long. Designed by Donald Ross in 1925 and host to the Junior Orange Bowl Golf Tournament, the nation’s largest junior golf tournament, the Biltmore provides the residents of Coral Gables a golf course showcase. With the picturesque Biltmore Hotel as a backdrop, residents and visitors alike are sure to enjoy the challenging, Par 71, 6,700-yard layout.

The Granada Golf Course, a nine-hole Par 36, is located just outside the downtown area. Granada’s local flavor, association support and private club atmosphere make it quite unique. Designed and opened in 1923, Granada is the oldest operating nine-hole course in Florida.
A perfect place for residents, visitors and beginners alike, Granada members take great pride in the facility.

Burger Bob’s, Granada’s 10th hole, is a favorite of the community. Residents can share stories and enjoy a wonderful morning, while enjoying a home-cooked meal. Call the Pro Shop for details at 305-460-5364.

Kids Golf Programs

Junior Golf Inclusive and Adaptive After school

Ages 6 - 16 years old

The junior golf program is an instructional program designed and instructed by PGA golf professional
Philip Argianas, 6 times awarded winner of the Junior Golf Leader Award presented by the “PGA”
Professional Golfers Association. the program is designed to meet the needs of junior golfers of all
abilities, special needs and inclusion. Golfers will participate in a number of different types of games
according to skill level. The program is sure to give excellent quality instruction encouraging each
participant to learn to improve and to enjoy playing golf for years to come. Golfers will learn putting,
chipping, pitching, iron play, long driving, golf course play, rules of golf and golf etiquette.

Kids - Swing Into Golf

Inclusive and adaptive program for boys and girls, 6 to 16 years old.
At the Granada Golf Course, 2001 Granada Blvd, Coral Gables

The “KIDS Swing into Golf” program is an instructional program designed and instructed by PGA Certified Professional Philip Argianas, 6 times awarded winner of the Junior Golf Leader Award presented by the “PGA” Professional Golfers Association. The program is designed to meet the needs of all junior golfers and
welcomes students of all “abilities” a Special Needs & Inclusion Program. We have an excellent schedule of fun golf games planned. The program is sure to provide fun, and benefit each student with increased awareness, self -control, self discipline and respect for other fellow golfers. Children will learn, SNAG golf, golf putting, bulls eye golf, long drive, and on golf course play.

*Space is limited to first 10 sign ups.
Registration is open to participants with or without disabilities. All
