Community Recreation

Reopening postponed for Venetian Pool, War Memorial Youth Center, and other facilities:

The City has reevaluated its reopening plans for the Venetian Pool and the War Memorial Youth Center Fitness Center, and has decided to postpone the opening of these facilities until a later date. This decision has been made in an abundance of caution with the goal of safeguarding our participants and ensuring all protocols are followed-including the wearing of facemasks. If you have already purchased tickets for the Venetian Pool please contact vpinfo@coralgables.com for a full refund. Fitness Center memberships will continue to be extended based on the duration of the closure.

All special events requiring a Special Events Permit will be suspended until further notice. All City events including sports tournaments will be suspended until further notice. Facility closures until further notice: Parks and open spaces below 1 acre in size; park amenities such as playgrounds, basketball courts and exercise equipment; and the Adult Activity Center.

For additional and updated information on the reopening phases visit https://www.coralgables.com/ReopeningCoralGablesParks

Parks will continue to provide free virtual programming on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/coralgablesparks/

Some programs advertised in the City Beautiful Magazine may have been temporarily suspended. For additional information please contact parks@coralgables.com
