The park is a triangular open park space located in front of the Historic Venetian Pool. The proposed design includes a main entrance trellis structure, a small pedestrian bridge overlooking a rock garden and a rubber path for leisurely walks within the park. One of the most prominent features will be that of raised oolite planting beds that will be available to plant seasonal flowers throughout the year. The park will also feature an open lawn area and an open crushed oolite sand area with boulders and oolite benches for seating. For safety reasons the park design will include 4ft aluminum picket fencing with oolite columns, an additional sidewalk on the De Soto side for pedestrian safety, a pedestrian crosswalk on the Toledo side, additional traffic signalization, and ADA access.
