Prototype - Beta Testing
Hello, my name is AIDA. I am an Artificial Intelligence Digital Assistant bot designed to help you navigate the City of Coral Gables’ Smart City Hub public platform (https://www.coralgables.com/smartcityhub), and find useful e-government tools and information -- such as digital city services, mobile apps, citizen engagement tools, open data, interactive maps, traffic and environmental sensor dashboards, transparency portals, and other useful resources. I am still a machine learning prototype, and this is a Beta-test page to help me learn and improve, with the help from users like you.
I was initially developed as part of the NSF-funded STIR Labs initiative, by a government-academia joint research team integrated by the City of Coral Gables Innovation and Technology Department (CGIT), researchers from University of West Virginia Human-Computer Interaction Lab (WVU-HCI) led by world-renowned AI and HCI expert Dr. Saiph Savage (MIT, WVU, NWU), the UC Berkeley Innovation Group (BIG), and the City Innovate STIR Labs cohort.
I have continued to evolve with new features and functionalities developed by a team of software engineers and data scientists at the City of Coral Gables Innovation and Technology Department (CGIT). Recent enhancements include integration with Large Language Models (LLM) and improved ontology and Natural Language Programming (NLP) algorithms.
