The City of Coral Gables Cultural Development Board has been appointed to assist the Coral Gables City Commission in distributing a limited amount of cultural monies to worthy nonprofit 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) groups that produce meaningful cultural experiences for the betterment of the Coral Gables community. These experiences must take place within the City of Coral Gables and be open and accessible to the public. 

Cultural activities and programs that qualify are those that address the visual and performing arts, history, historic preservation and folk life, international cultural exchanges, and the literary and media arts.

FY 2016-2017 CULTURAL GRANT APPLICATION - past deadline


Applicants MUST attend the Grant Application Workshop on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at the War Memorial Youth Center Theater, 405 University Drive. Upon confirmation of attendance, applicants must complete the Eligibility Determination by September 13, 2017 to access the FY2017-2018 Cultural Development Grant Application.


  City of Coral Gables 2015-2016 Cultural Grant Recipients
The City Commission on December 08 awarded a total of $150,000 in grants to 27 nonprofit cultural organizations to provide cultural programming in the City Beautiful. The grants will be used to present performances, exhibitions, programs, festivals and other events that will make Coral Gables an even more vibrant cultural destination.
