Join in The Chinese Art of Moving Meditation! Tai Chi assists healing of chronic ailments, improves circulation of the blood and other body fluids, facilitates digestion, benefits the reproductive organs and relaxes the nervous system. Tai Chi has a toning and smoothing effect on the body and sculpts the waistline while slimming other areas. Tai Chi is a low impact form of exercise that helps to strengthen the legs and bring flexibility to the muscles of the body. Its relaxed and slow method of movement can be thought of as a form of moving meditation or moving yoga, thus combining physical movements with mental focus to create an intense form of exercise. This Martial Arts form uses very natural body mechanics which produce little or no perspiration making street clothes the attire of choice.
