THEATER CONSERVATORY
The Miami Children’s Theater Conservatory formed in 1996, is a professional theater training program for young people between the ages of 5 and 19. Young artists from throughout the Miami-Dade area come to develop their creative talent and to grow as young artists.
We offer dynamic courses for the beginner exploring acting for the first time, as well as advanced-level study for young actors with previous experience. Classes are designed to develop imagination, concentration, character, professionalism, and technique, and to strengthen the student’s command of his/her body and voice. Our faculty are working theater professionals who are particularly skilled in working with young actors. In addition to a full complement of studio classes offered year round, The Miami Childrens Theater offers students the chance to apply their skills in our professional stage productions.
The journey can begin at age 5 and last a lifetime. If you want a place in which your serious interest in acting can be taken to new heights, the Miami Childrens Theater is the place for you!
