Mission & Objectives Mission: To provide protection for life and property in an effective manner that enhances the City of Coral Gables position as a premier international, residential, and business community. Vision: Objectives: • Provide appropriate distribution of emergency service personnel and equipment to strategic locations of the City 24 hours daily, 365 days per year. • Provide an increased quality of emergency fire and medical service to all areas of the City 365 days per year. • Provide fire protection for commercial and residential property estimated at a 2008 value of $12,977,056,322 to maintain a minimum loss ratio per $1,000 taxable value. • Develop supervisors and managers to assure quality, work product results. • Provide method for input from citizens concerning quality of service.
