Systems and Applications Group - This
group is responsible for systems engineering, analysis support and
administration. This includes hardware and software automation systems,
databases, Internet and Intranet portals, server infrastructure.
Network and Telecom Group -
This group designs, engineers, and implements network and telecom systems. This
includes WAN/LAN voice, data and video network equipment wireless, fiber leased
bandwidth links enviornmental and facilities maintenance.
SERVICES
Field Service Group - This group is
responsible for supporting the day to day operations of all city departments
providing a high quality level of onsite customer service and technical
expertise to resolve a wide variety of PC, telecommunication and network
issues.
GIS Group - This group is responsible
for managing all aspects, production and distribution of citywide Geographic
Information System or (GIS). GIS captures, stores, analyzes manages and
presents data that is linked to location. This includes mapping software and
its application with remote sensing, land surveying, arerial photography,
mathematics, photogrammetry, geography, and tools that can be implemented with
GIS software.
Help Desk Group - This
group manages and administers day to day calls
for IT Service assisting both internal and
external customers by providing phone support,
remote customer support and dispatching field
service staff for onsite response. Service calls
are tracked until issue is resolved. Calls are
managed for service on projects enterprise
deployments, upgrades and
maintenance.
